My husband and  I have  worked  with  Dan  on  3  projects  over  the past ten  years  - house, carriage house/barn, and an addition. I honestly can’t say enough great things about him.  Our home and outbuildings are well known in this area and after 10 years in the home, people still stop by to ask if we used and architect and if so, ask for his contact information. We  happily  provide  it every  time.

I find  that  Dan  is  wonderfully  intuitive  with  his  clients.  With  dozens of  hand  drawings,  pictures  and  magazine  clippings,  I explained  my  vision  for  our  homes  And  Dan  nailed  the    design  on  the  first  pass.   We only  had  a  few  tweaks  to  the  interior  layout;  the  rest  stuck.    He  was  on  hand  during  the  construction  to  answer  any  questions  and  ensure  the  builder  (my  husband)  stayed  true  to  course.   I  feel  his  integrity  and  his  direct  and  honest qualities  are  just  as  important  as  his  design  skills

When  you  combine  these  traits  with  a  wonderful  design  aesthetic,  you  have  a  great  architect  and  one  I  highly recommend.

We  used  Dan  for  an  extensive re-model  of  our  Princeton  home  (15 months  of construction)  and  the  design  of  an  elaborate 8 + car  garage.    He  is  a  delight  to  work  with,  very  creative  with  his  ideas,  and   was  flexible  working  with  the  contractors.  I  highly  recommend  him!

Dan  you  did  it!  Somehow  you turned  my  very  plain  metal  building  into  a  charming  and  useable  space.  Your  design input-even  from  afar-was  as  if  you  were  standing  in  the  building.  Though  mine  was  a  small  project,  I  really  appreciated  your  patience  and  how  you  kept  finding  ways  to  improve  the  design.    I  believe  the  finish  work  attests  to  your  vision  and  you’re  invited  to  visit  whenever  you  can .    Thanks  again.

In just a few words….we LOVE Dan Ferguson!!!  He’s very low key, easy to sit and talk with and that never changes from beginning to end of the project. We’ve done 3 projects w/Dan, a complete renovation of a lake front summer camp that is now our year round home, a guest cottage on the same property, and a new home on Cape Cod..

Dan never ceases to amaze me with his ability to put my thoughts and picture files into wonderful designs that require very few revisions after seeing his plans.  He’s  able  to  incorporate  my  ideas as well  as  his own into very  livable  designs, which  years  later  we’re  still  enjoying.  We’ve  worked  with  2  different  builders  and  both  have  been  very  happy  with  the  quality  of  his  plans.   Dan  stays  with  the  project  all  the  way  thru  and  makes  himself  available  for on-site  questions/issues. 

I  can‘t  recommend  him  highly  enough….he’s  great  to  work with  and  remains  a  friend  for  life.
